  1. This article raises the issue of ethical consumption. While a majority of American Jews support a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine and favor a withdrawal of settlements from the West Bank, it seems to me that consuming morally would require of those of us who oppose supporting settlement to boycott materials produced by enterprises that profit from the persistence of the settlements. This would not mandate a boycott of all Israeli products but those produced by settler industries in the West Bank.
