A note from Sh’ma’s Online Director:

Dear Sh’ma Reader,

Welcome.

The new Shma.com is finally here, and we couldn’t be more excited!

For the past 43 years, Sh’ma has been bringing you the best voices in Jewish thought to wrestle with ideas concerning Jewish life and the Jewish people.

Now, we reaffirm this commitment to “conversation” by giving you greater access to, and encouraging deeper participation in, our newly designed Web site, Shma.com.

With a clean uncluttered interface, more opportunities to comment, greater social media integration, bold colors and graphics, and even a brand new logo, the new Shma.com offers an enhanced user experience by which to engage with our entire line of rich content, including:

  • articles featured in the monthly journal
  • the daily S Blog
  • video interviews with NiSh’ma commentator & respondents
  • online art exhibitions
  • the entire print, digital, and S Blog archive

As we continue to refine and grow the new Shma.com—such as adding full mobile capabilities and a downloadable app—we invite you to explore the Web site and contact us with your thoughts and suggestions.

Most important, thank you for reading Sh’ma.

With your continued support, we look forward to pushing the boundaries of Jewish thought and engagement for another 43 years to come.

Sincerely,

Robert J. Saferstein, Online Director
